Debit card payments are deducted immediately from your bank account, while credit card payments are not.
Visa/Mastercard is a card that allows worldwide payments. Unlike a regular bank card where payments are deducted immediately, with a credit card, all expenses are billed at the end of the month. The credit card issuer pays for your purchases upfront and sends you a bill at the end of the month.
With bank transfer, customers receive a payment request with a unique reference number. They can then log in to their own banking environment to make the payment or choose to receive the request via email and pay later.
Bancontact is the most popular payment method in Belgium, allowing users to make payments online and offline using a card linked to a Belgian bank account. Payments via Bancontact are guaranteed and always securely processed.
Bank transfer, also known as self-transfer, allows customers to transfer the payment themselves after placing the order. Upon completion of the order, customers receive a code to include in the transfer. It's important to use this code to ensure automatic processing of the payment and order fulfillment.
